Peanut butter is one of my favorite things ever! Anything peanut butter flavored I will eat in a heart beat, so I began my healthy lifestyle, I realized that store bought peanut butter was anything but natural. This is when I decided to make my own. I thought hey it can't be that hard to make peanut butter, so I searched how to make it on youtube, and I was right, it was not hard. Since I learned how, this is the only form of peanut butter I eat and have in my kitchen. Now, I want to share this with you, trust me once you make this you will never buy peanut butter in the store again. There is only two steps,so it is super simple! 

NOTE: You can substitute the raw peanuts with any other nut you will like. For example, cashews, almonds, sunflowers, walnuts, etc...


Raw Peanuts (NO roasted or salted peanuts)

1.  First, for the peanut butter, toast them over medium heat in a pan. Toast the peanuts until golden brown, but make sure to keep your eye on them because they burn easily. NOTE: The color of the peanut butter depends on how much you toast them, so be careful not to burn the peanuts. It should only take about 25 minutes to toast them, but make sure to stir every 4-5 minutes to make sure they are not burning.

2. Once the peanuts are toasted, throw them into the food processor and blend away. You can blend to your liking. There. You are done. Told you how easy that was!
