Apple Pie Yogurt


6 oz. Plain Greek yogurt (or according to your serving size)

1 Fuji apple (any apple you like)

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/16 Teaspoon Nutmeg (half of 1/8 teaspoon)

1/16 Teaspoon Cloves (half of 1/8 teaspoon)

1-2 Teaspoon Honey (May add more for sweetness)

1 Tablespoon Peanut butter (May add more)


First, heat a pan over medium-low heat.

Meanwhile, dice the apple, set aside. In a small bowl add cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, set aside. I used half of 1/8 teaspoon of cloves and nutmeg because the taste is very strong and overpowering.

Add apple and spice mix into the preheated pan and let it cook, stir occasionally. Cook until apple are tender but not too soft because you still want a little crunch to the apple. Add the honey and stir together.

Spoon out your serving size for the greek yogurt, add peanut butter and apples over the top.

I like to mix everything together, but you may leave the yogurt like the photo above. Also, you may switch up the nut butter, I sometimes eat this with homemade almond butter.
